Nextdoor Neighbourhood Pulse: Federal Election 2021

Written by #TeamNextdoor

Hello neighbours,

As you know, Nextdoor is a place for you to connect with your neighbourhood. With the federal election just a few weeks away, we are keen to learn what key issues and election topics are most important to each local community. To do this, we are running a series of anonymous polls in neighbourhoods on Nextdoor.

These polls are not affiliated with any other group, company, political party, candidate or entity. Your response to each poll is anonymous and the results will be shared in aggregate, on our blog and for any interested local and national media outlets. You can view the results of each poll on the poll itself. We will also update this blog with the poll results as they roll out over the coming weeks.

Ultimately, our goal is to compare the polling insights on Nextdoor to other available polls and to see if there are any interesting trends uncovered in our local neighbourhoods. We know these polls are a little bit different because for some posts, you’ll be able to see neighbour posts from other neighbourhoods in your province; however, the polls and your responses will not impact the way you interact daily with your neighbours on Nextdoor.

Thank you for your participation!

The above insights are the results of a series of polls Nextdoor Canada ran on the Nextdoor Canada platform from Sep 3 – Sep 18. Nextdoor users in neighbourhoods across Canada proactively responded to each poll.
