Nextdoor Canada invests in local team with first head of communications hire and continues to grow engineering hub in Toronto
Nextdoor is happy to officially welcome Anne Morello to the growing Canadian team as the Head of Communications for Canada. In this new role, Anne will lead communications and media relations, helping to accelerate Nextdoor’s continued growth in Canada.
With a wide and varied background in communications and technology, Anne’s focus will be telling the stories of our members, and how Canadians across the country are using Nextdoor every single day to help and support one another.
Nextdoor launched in Canada in 2019 and has experienced rapid growth in communities across the country ever since. We’re a hyper-local platform on a mission to help neighbours build meaningful connections and facilitate the exchange of helpful information, goods, and services. At Nextdoor, our purpose is to cultivate a kinder world where everyone has a neighbourhood they can rely on.
Anne joins an already robust and growing product and engineering team dedicated to building the global Nextdoor “For Sale and Free” product based Toronto.
A Toronto native, Anne grew up in Scarborough’s Centennial neighbourhood and is currently a proud Liberty Village resident.
