Celebrate togetherness on Nextdoor with the new fleur-de-lis and maple leaf reactions
To celebrate the diversity and togetherness we share as Canadians, Nextdoor is releasing a special fleur-de-lis “reaction” just in time for Saint Jean Baptiste Day, titled “Unis/United”. It will replace the “+1” reaction so members can recognize kind and neighbourly posts in celebration of Saint Jean Baptiste Day. The fleur-de-lis reaction is available to all members in Quebec.

Then on June 30th, just in time for Canada Day, we will launch a special maple leaf reaction, titled “Together/Ensemble”. Similar to the fleur-de-lis, the “Together/Ensemble” reaction will replace the “+1” reaction and serve as a symbol of how we have and will continue to come together as Canadian neighbours to pull through this difficult time. We encourage you to use the “Together/Ensemble” reaction in response to neighbourly and kind posts in celebration of Canada Day on July 1st and throughout the month of July. For those in Quebec, the maple leaf reaction will change back to the fleur-de-lis on July 6 and will be available to members until the end of July.
